To deltagere forlod dagens anmelder-visning af “The House That Jack Built”.
Halvvejs igennem dagens danske pressevisning i Imperial på Lars von Triers snart premiereaktuelle film udvandrede to deltagere, der ikke siden vendte tilbage.
Udvandringen fandt sted efter en scene, hvor hovedkarakteren i “The House That Jack Built”, seriemorderen Jack, brutalt har skuddræbt to børn.
Tidligere på året fik selv samme scene flere blandt publikum til at udvandre ved verdenspremieren i Cannes – læs om det her.
Men det er ikke et problem, mener Lars von Trier:
”Selv hvis man går, når det første barn bliver myrdet, tager man jo noget med hjem,” siger Trier til Information.
“The House That Jack Built” får dansk premiere d. 29. november.

Selv i Lars von Triers Medea (1988) mener jeg ikke at vi ser selve hængningen af de to børn, selvom det stadig er en uhyggelig scene.
Det hænger nok sammen med, at det er for meget for mange og så risikere man bare at der ikke er nogle der vil se filmen.
Ligesom det nok også er de færreste der har lyst til at se en realistisk krigsfilm, hvor soldaterne vælter rundt hjernemasse og indvolde.

Saving private Ryan og Hacksaw ridge er da glimrende film. Med soldater der bliver såret på grusomste vis. Eller We were soldiers, hvor de får brændt huden af, med napalm. Så dem der der nogle stykker af
